I think you make and design detectors for retail?
If so then you may wish to read Bruce Candy's patent on the Geotech site and then maybe ask some questions on it.

I maked the prototype of multifrequency metaldetector which based on the Bruce Candy's patents. It has two microprocessors - first does the outdoing pulses for TX coil and eight reference signals for synchronous detectors. Second microprocessor (ARM7T 66Mhz) processes data from detectors and screens informations about object on the graphical display. Maybe I will connect a color grpaphical display (320x240) on a final release. The Bruce Candy's ideas are very good! And so I express an interest in his ideas. But I didn't find any notes (number of patent etc ) about MPS.
