  • RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP PCB's!!

    www.jlcpcb.com

I can get 280mm round double sided coil PCB's for Pi's for $4 each for 5. Shipped DHL to my home from China.

If you want a more standard size say 100mm x 100mm DOUBLE sided, 2 Oz copper then expect to pay around $2 each! ENJOY

Carl move this to the appropriate section if It doesn't belong here. Thanks.

Sean I'm just waiting a set of boards from this company. They offer the lowest prices for boards > 10x10. I'm using cheapest shipping which was 8$ for 5 boards.
Problems with the DHL service here is that they are very keen to take their customs taxes and fees. I prefer to wait longer with the cheaper ship option. For faster service with DHL shipping (4-5 days) I use allpcb.com

This week I tried to submit a spiral coil PCB design to JCL. They rejected it, complaining that the line spacing was too narrow (20 mils!), but in the end they said that can't make a board with circular traces. Makes no sense to me, I think they just didn't want to make it. It was big, at 285mm. If anyone has success with this, let me know.

i think something with apertura movement problem. thinking they are just small group of intermediaries and ordering the pcb on a manufacture getting
                      the refusal.

JLCPCB are a huge company. In fact they're the largest prototype PCB manufacturer in China.

JLCPCB shouldn't have any problem making large PCBs, or anything with circular tracks.
                          From their website:
"Generally the PCB dimension JLCPCB can do is 5x5mm to 400x500mm for single& double layer PCB, 5x5mm to 300x300mm for Multi Layer PCB."

Probably their DRC checking design software fails with your design.

Ask him to avoid DRC checking in manufacturing process.

Well, I don't know whats going on, my order for round coils has been turned down after a day in"Production" same reason as Carl mentioned, too many circles.
The track shape can't be the problem, I even had a square carrier panel, weird.
Yet, other members on this forum have stated they had no issues.
