There is written about this shortcut test with the 1,5v battery.

Anyone here has any experience how directional it was?

Was pointing the device exactly like a telescope at that direction important or not?

Because perhaps we can use parts of the circuit for a real reliable working middle-range-detector.

But first you have to know what it was detecting, because with scientific working electronical parts
you won't be able to detect any phenomena, ghosts, magic cult regions, cursed places etc. *laugh*

Is this circuit for anything reliable useful or not?

(besides as pinpinter because of the interfering heathkit circuit). Because we are here no astrologers who
claim that people with this or that star-sign are having exactly this or that character or even fate! *laugh*

Perhaps everyone which was born in the summer times is less hardened than those born in winter-times
or more interested into flowers and butterflies than into snowballs and skiing but who the hell cares? *laugh*
I doubt that all people born in Africa in the winter-time are interested in a snowball-fight and in snowboarding!


OK, we have some magnetic ferrite dipole antenna from the Totem.
How directional is it?

Keep in mind that the shortcut-spark of an 1,5v battery creates the "full" frequency
spectrum of halfwaves. Same as you can hear a lightning at every radio-frequency.
Perhaps it even creates ultra weak radioactivity, who knows...

Because the goal is to get a reliable directional input and output.

Imagine that the input which makes the metal causes eddy-currents is super
weak (perhaps even from "natural" sources) BUT our directional antenna
is SUPER directional like a satellite-dish and thats why we are able to
catch the signal clearly and with a very clear distance to the nearby area!

Adjust the sat-dish 7 millimeter (1/4 inch) wrong and you can forget the good signal!

So how directional is the Totem detector or was everything some wishy-washy nothing?!

Sorry for that! This was just ironical, cynical & sarcastic because I know, that serious
people incl. the authors of the book have made a lot efforts to study and try out
something hopefully working! That's also my personal scientific attidute and i would
find it a shame if all this effort was for "nothing" or even harmful.

Not every scientifical wisdom can be found on the first sight or straight approach.
It can become some meandering journey, too, with crazy new starts and surprising ends.
