Explorer I to II?

Hi, I'm wondering if someone has upgrade an Explorer XS to an Explorer II, I mean software upgrade.
Is it possible to upgrade processor with the new software?.

You would have to contact Minelab. I expect that, even if the only change to the Exp was in firmware, they would not be inclined to provide a new chip, as it would not be good for sales.

In a word.. NO.

Basically it's not worth the upgrade anyhow. I've heard a lot of people say that the EXI is more sensitive to small objects under certain conditions.

Just buy the lower rod and the arm rest and everyone will think you've got an EXII anyhow.
