Friends,

I am saying adieu to this forum today. I received mail from many parts of the world, and by far the most of it was positive and appreciative, by people who simply love electronics - but I don't appreciate abuse or conniving. I don't belong here. I don't do electronics for this. In a sense, I am saying that I apologise for not replying any more to messages here, and thank you.

People are people and I would say good luck to you. I will not let anyone stop me from being me.If I like something I will still do it.
If you like this forum stay but as you know people will do things and say things.It had happen to me and others. If we lose good people we will not learn or improve or knowledge. good luck to you.

I am sorry to hear that as I have enjoyed reading about your concepts and seeing the circuits. But on the other hand I totally understand your feelings in this matter. It happened to me on one of the other metal detecting forums a few months ago when I posted positive results on tests I had a made of an aftermarket product for use on a certain detector. Since my results were contrary to the results people wanted to hear on the forum I was personally attacked. I do not need people like that in my life so I chose to no longer have anything to do with that particular forum. Life is too short to have to deal with those people.

I am surprised that you had the problems here on this Forum as this Forum is not generally like that. Most people are here for two reasons. They have a love of both electronics and metal detecting and enjoy reading about and experimenting with both.

Please, do not abandon so fast.
New (and mostly simple) ideas have always been discredited by jaleous people who are furious to have missed them for themselves.
Since you put your ideas on the public domain, I personally feel that only well-based technical discussions can take place around that subject and not referring to old-fashioned patents even if they could resemmble your own design.
Let them cry and continue to discuss with us, reasonable people and follow the proposal of Carl to calm down.

It was Never my Intent to get you Upset!

Being an experimenter and designer myself, Sometimes life and confrontations are Frustrating, but Perserverance is important!

Although I am not very familiar with your previous designs, I feel you should continue sharing them as before.
