Dismantled a whole Chinese GPX detector, not photo of pc board only and
taken clear macro photos of all parts from different perspective..

I asked different Chinese GPX seller to do this, but they all run away after such question.

Their own technical data description of first Chinese GPX copies, clearly show that it is VLF inside and not PI one.

But probably they advanced and now are real GPX copies inside, so I wish to see dismantled proof.

The reason Minelab used white paint was to discourage reverse-engineering. The reason a Chinese copy would use white paint is to make it look just like a Minelab, even inside. Conformal coatings (for moisture) are usually clear.

Agree. I have Chinese MD clone (not GPX) and it works properly.

Problem is where pure PCB an micro cloning is not enough.
Where some additional specific setup and tuning is needed.

I often wonder what disrepecting the rules governing intellectual property does for innovation in the long run. I mean what's the point of innovating if some one else can just subsume your idea and reap the rewards of your sweat. I think this is very, very dangerous.
I am all for lifting people en masse out of poverty, but there will come a time when this approach is going to backfire and kick us hard in the ***.

PS.... I think white coating the PCB (just like the original) is the chinese way of saying "up yours"
