What is the new Garrett APEX metal detector.

I have only used PI type detectors for my own metal detecting hobby, I bought a APEX an yes Garrett got it right this machine works as good or better than the Whites , Fishers etc. I hunt with a group who only try's to use their machines to the peak of performance. We even have a couple of Minelab folks but their machines are always going in to repair. This of coarse is my opinion, for the price point an performance the APEX is a good detector. seems to be a bust. Sad.
one secondhand shop refuses to take them in
Seem for some reason 20mhz is twice as deep as any other frequency and multi is by far the worse


Whether it effects every machine I dont know.

Scope evo 6000 is also a bust. But they have asked for them all back for a full refund. Full marks for listening to there customers. Lets hope it gets sorted soon.
