Good generator TX for the VLF detector

Re: Good generator TX for the VLF detector

Yes the series LC circuit is what I have been thinking is more the right idea for a lower impedance and more current through the transmit coil. I want to build one with a class D amplifier chip. NS, TI and Maxim have all put class D amplifers on the market very recently and they only cost about 50 cents each in volume. They operate from 2.5v-5.5v and some of them have outputs greater than 1 watt depending on the impeadance of what they are driving. These chips are no bigger than a fly and have an H bridged Mosfet output stage driven by a digital PWM stage. I was thinking of using a 32khz crystal osc. since they are so avaliable and divide it with tiny logic fly sized 3v flip flops to obtain 16khz, 8khz and 4khz. You seem like the real expiermenter type, what country are you in, do you have access to newer components.

      Good generator ver.2

The high-power generator for VLF the detector, is reliably started and works with any coils. Gives the large depth of detection.

        Hi, David
If you will have successful test of your generator - send the circuit in a forum
I live in Russia and I have no access to new components...
