Yes and for me I did not suffer through the learning curve long enough to master it as few others did I interviewed. The Nokta Invenio is the replacement for the Golden King and has my attention currently.

      nokta invenio - also pro:

For the Invenio the INV56 DD Searchcoil 56x49 cm is a Must otherwise its a waste of money!

I know the JeoHunter and DeepHunter very well, which are the "rough" but same deep version of the Golden King.
Because of the large coils and non-motion mode they are super deep but "heavy" to use, but only from the weight.

The main problem is that you must use them at locations which are almost free of junk-objects otherwise it can
become too exhausting. The analyzing-screen only is needed for the real deep finds and it uses too much power.

For beginners its cheaper to get some PI with 1 meter coil, if you don't need discrimination and ground-balance.
The most larger usual stuff down to 75cm you also can detect meanwhile with a lightweight MD with 40cm coil.
And for the Golden King, Jeohunter or DeepHunter some must have at least 2 new and fresh special batteries!

... if you don't have a little mod with an outside 10x AA batteries pack which provides 15 volts ...
