  • Eldorado Tesoro

Good evening, to the members of this Forum, I wanted to ask the Gurus for their opinion on the functioning of a homemade Eldorado treasure circuit. A few years ago I made two Eldorado circuits that worked immediately, but in both of them I never managed to make ground balance, or to remove the ferrite. For this reason I left this project aside, and I built IDX pro. Today I put my hand to eldorado again and I realized that the circuit does not remove the ferrite by simulating the GB, but manages to remove an iron tool. Why, what can I do? Thanks in advance to those who will answer my problem.

The circuit is very close to the Tesoro Golden Sabre which is done as the TGSL Geotech project.

Go look at the documents in particular the TGSL 101.pdf.

First thing I would check is the FET switch gate signals.
Look at these with a scope. Use two channels with ch 1 on TX oscillator and set to trigger.
This way you see the GB of Disc pulse timing relative to the TX.
Turn the pots and ensure to pulse timing changes.
The pulse timing should be close the the TGSL and scope pics in the 101 doc.

On the TGSL I built the GB adjustment is very touchy. It doesn't take much turning of the pot to go from not enough to too much. This is with a one turn pot. If I rebuild I would use a multi-turn pot.
