I hate seeing repairs made with a plumbers iron, just cut the transistor legs at the body and use the old legs as pcb pins and lightly solder the new tranny to old pins takes only seconds to do and saves destroying the pcb and makes further replacements easy.

With COVID-19 we need distance at least 2m, so clean work with flamethrower is suggested?

Probably no one here knows what transistor it is. Have you asked Detech?

I had one on service 10 years ago, similar fault.
I was lazy to examine those components so i can't tell.
But most probably is some BDxxx.
Most important is to distinguish about polarity by now.
You do that by analyzing the connections of its pins.
Collector is always in the middle.
Look up for power rails and relation to collector.
