  • Does anybody have a schematic from fisher CZ3D?

I would like to see how it is possible to handle a multifrequency detector using analog circuits. And also how is realised target conductivity meter.

There is a hand-drawn schematic for the CZ-5 ( or 5D ? ) floating about on here, which should be sufficiently close to the CZ-3 for academic study purposes. Here is one thread where it appears, there are others, if you search.

CZ-5 is hard in realisation because 20+ trimmers on boards.

Yes, lots of trimmers, some for salt water hunting, some for dirt/inland, some for pinpoint mode. And only two 'parties' know the calibration procedure, and neither of them are going to divulge it.

            Thank you very much.
I musr redraw this schematic fior better understanding.
My idea is try to implement part for ID meter from this schematic and implement to Tesoro desing and control 555 timer from voltage from ID meter and make a multitone audio for analog Tesoro.
            Does anybody try somethink similar?

You have a multi-frequency Tesoro ? If not, would it not be wiser to find a meter-ID schematic from a simpler single-frequency detector? The schematic for the Teknetics Mark 1 can be found here, I have a copy somewhere, it originally came from this forum. That would be easier to understand, and it's not hand-drawn.

Hi Jaccob, if you make any progress please post it in my topic "Analog Target indicator"
                regards

The Teknetics Mark1 schematic (pdf) is posted in this thread ( and probably other places ):

I littlebit study a IDX and other desings .
The best is use the X and Y points on GB and disc channel same as in IDX
My idea is :make a two tone detector and make analog VDI VCO only for non fe targets, for iron targets only switch to low tone without VCO.
1)at first make a new extra complete channel, now detector have a 3 channels called :GB, disc and disc min and use 180 degress disc. circuit.(from cibola, tejon)
                    2) compare disc ang Gb channel (as normal) and GB and disc MIN channel.-In disc min channel you can reduce a small ground mineralisation and extremem small pieces of iron rust.
Contol audio tone from low to high from outputs comparators GB and disc chanell).GB and disc min channel is only for switching audio on (if is some target under coil ,no depends if is Fe or nonFE)
3)make a inverted disc - disc circuit accepting only iron.(silent disc could be realised via iron volume -if ou set Iron vol. to zero).Stable tone will be high only when comes Fe target switch to another bigger capacitor by 4053 in 555 circuit to decrease the freq.
                    4) use a differential amp between XY points if is neccesssary make a non linear gain unsig , diodes, zener diodes in feetback on OP amp. from this voltage contoll 555.Now the VCO VDI works only in case non FE targets

I did not tested this , is only a few minutes idea.
