It would help a lot if you gave more information and some photos of the coil.

you can connect multimeter in mV mode direct to RX coil to measure the nulling voltage, or you measure at the output of the preamp after the rx coil connection
you can devide the measured value through the amp factor of preamp, or you just set coil so that you get the lowest output of preamp while no metal is near the coil

You know beginners lot of questions
When i measur rx i find 1.4mv dc with/without tx
The goal is how to set-up the the value between 5 to 10 mv
Is there a component need to change?
