    Homaion,

The RM-1 is what I call a "poor-man's resistivity meter." It is the resistivity meter you might use if you have nothing else to use and are desperate to appear as if you are using a resistivity meter. It is most likely a direct copy of the Accumeter VI (which I own) or the Kellyco GPL (which I might own). And both of them are based on this circuit:

    Survey Meter (Popular Electronics, 1971)

All of them are overpriced crap. I don't see in any of the other photos what might be the circuit board for the RM-1. I would be surprised if it contains a micro as there is nothing for a micro to do.

The other devices rank well below overpriced crap... they are outright scams. As Qiaozhi suggests, feel free to discuss them on the LRL forums.

OK, I got confused by all these random internal photos and external shots. The PCB I'm describing is the small one, which I now think is labelled T-01 , which must be inside the 'PRO T-01 Long range locator' , which is nonsense radio antenna/dowsing stuff. There doesn't appear to be an internal pic of the 4-probe resistivity meter, so like Carl says, it's probably analogue, and not microprocessor-based.
