Last week I got a 6000 di pro sl to repair, the problem was in the powersupply. Had to change some capacitors and the polarity protection diode, now it works

The one thing that I was not expecting is the current drain of the unit, it works as just before but it consumes 2.26A from the battery pack. Is this because of the voltage booster, it's normal for this detector?
