  • Tero Vido 3D

a friend bought this device despite my warning thinking that it could not detect
gold and other precious metals: the Tero Vido 3D which for me should only be a magnetometer
which can only react to ferrous metals, is my suspicions founded, who can answer me? thank you

Yes, I think you are correct. The specs say "3-axis digital sensors" which is almost certainly a 3-axis mag chip. This means, for a magnetometer, sensitivity will be modest, not as good as with a custom-made fluxgate or PPM sensor. Looks likes the price is $6,000 - $10,000 USD, I think I'm in the wrong business.
