    Hi friend. I have gp3500. Gp3500 2xAd797 and w34nb20 mosfet very hot. Before Ad797 and w34nb20 gate signal ok. Very hot after not signal. Why very hot. Can you help me.

    Is this a stock 3500 or “modified”…….I am aware of one or two modified 3500’s that ran too hot after someone thought they knew more than the combined knowledge of several Minelab engineers.

      hello minelab gp 3500 transistor in the picture is overheating. When I measured it, I saw that it was broken. It says 455 on this transistor, I couldn't find it on the internet. 455 is what smd code. Can you help with this. Click image for larger version

                Fairchild NDT455N NMOS. Anything with similar specs will work.

                            If you don't fix what's causing the burn even if you replace it may will burn again. You may want to watch the full video before attempting to fix just to be safe.
