That technology is no longer as exciting as it was 20 years ago. You see and hear one; you've seen and heard them all!
What I disliked about the Nokta/Makor detector; now I have a complaint with this one as well.

Such a high mounted coil connector will not be a problem only in flat deserts such as Australia.

I was thinking the same thing.
Very nicely made (like the majority of Garrett detectors) but with a potentially vulnerable coil connector.

" That technology is no longer as exciting as it was 20 years ago. "

I think that garrett is based this time on the technology sold by white's of Eric foster who is a pioneer in pulse induction detector because considering the price but I recognize that garrett also knows how to do with his ATX which is very powerful

The Axiom is almost certainly not based on anything White's was doing. The ATX was already more advanced than what White's had, it was just stuffed into an unfortunate enclosure. From what I can tell it looks like Garrett did a really nice job on this detector.

Слишком много пластика и мало новых технологий. Ирландца Эрика Фостера не превзойти!

                Google say
Too much plastic and not enough new technologies. The Irishman Eric Foster cannot be surpassed!

Eric Foster technology, Garrett technology, no one knows, these are just guesses but the real field tests will decide, I have no doubts about the skills of either of the two, each is good in the field in their own way, we can not decide just by looking at images of this detector. the technical characteristics do not reveal much, the Chinese also say when talking about their detectors: 5 meters deep, precise recognition of metals, 48 hours of autonomy, weight of 700 grams, I repeat that only tests carried out by individuals on real ground will decide.

I purchased a White's TDI SL several years ago, just for hunting the old school yards where coal waste had been discarded on the property. Never quite paid for the machine but found many old silver dimes and two gold rings mixed in with the coal slack. PI's have a special purpose in hunting for gold and of course they really love deep nails too. Wonder how this new machine will handle nails.

It would be good to see the oscillogram of transmission of AXIOM . Hopefully we will be pleasantly surprised with something new…
