I was planning to see him when visiting the UK in December 2022. Really saddened by this news.
His funeral will be shown this Friday November 25th at 2pm UK time (UTC +0 GMT).

Like many of the regulars on here, I've had some good technical discussions with Eric. His longstanding passion for the subject was admirable, always willing to help, educate and share with others. It saddens me to see him pass.
