Toltec 80 and Golden Sabre have essentially the same channels.
The VDI circuit from the Toltec schematic can be wired up to the TGSL.

If I can recall meter circuit from 6000Di, it's log(x/y)=log(x)-log(y), each channel having a log amp then both feeding a difference amp.

So my guess is RC4200 probably used as divider?

i3(output)=i1xi2/i4 where i1 is pin 8 and i4 is pin 5 and i2 is pin 1. i3 is pin 4(output).

This vdi circuit is unaffected by the discrimination pot setting because it uses a separate channel.

RC4200 is obsolete and very hard to find.

The circuit is modified using opamps in place of RC4200. In principle should work with some tweaking.
