I have just been informed of the sad news that Marty Johnson (MartyJ1963) passed away on 26th October after a battle with skin cancer.
We had communicated several times by both email and PM, but never actually met in person. I know that he was also in contact with several other members of the Geotech forum.

Sad. We're all doomed. This forum has connected us in ways we couldn't have imagined just a couple of decades ago. So I always feel sad at hearing such things.

Really sad news. Marty lived not too far from me, we communicated regularly, but we never met. He was such a generous guy; always willing to help. God have mercy on his soul.
