I would like to know what is principle of Coin Check feature in Shadow X2. I want to add Coin Check to my Silver Sabre. Maybe someone who reads this will know more and post it here.

Pepso, what I think about... here was a comprehensive schematic of Tesoro (I hope you saw it), take a look on "notch" part. I suspect it was released of the way.

Actually guys, it's just a preset potentiometer which is switched in instead of the existing DISC pot.

Nothing so complicated as a notch ;-)

It simply disconnects the discrimination pot and puts a fixed resistor in the circuit instead. This resistor value is equivalent to setting the disc pot to about "6" or so where only coins are detected.
