  • Tesoro coil connector question

    Hi all,

I'm trying to modify a Tesoro Compadre (to add coil connector and external sensitivity pot)and need to order somewhere a genuine coil connector. But don't know which type is correct. I have found following information (at findmall.com):
    Switchcraft 5-pin Male plug - SL415M,
Female side - SL405F (not the panel mount),
    Strain relief spring - SL05.
But SL415M seems to be cord plug, not panel mount. How is it really in micromax cases?
    Thanks.

    Re: Tesoro coil connector question

They use panel-mount connectors on the box, SL175F. Cord plug is SL405M.

      Re: Tesoro coil connector question

      Many thanks Carl.
BTW, Compadre is Bandido II without allmetal/pinpoint channel. Just small differences (ED-180 discriminator). There can be added a small PCB with one TLC2262 chip and switch for pinpoint-retune. Sensitivity and GEB trimmer can be replaced with panel mounted potentiometers, to add one potentiometer with one resistor for treshold and Super Compadre with Bandido features is ready.
It will be my modification project :-)
