  • Storage capacitor

Anybody try this for to eliminate inestability when audio is present? I think the consumption during audio signal in MD inestabilize the ICs. The diode prevent return and the cap as voltage storage. I see this in some circuites involves relay or speaker.

I think this arrangement must be used in each + input in the ICs. Maybe is preferable distributed capacitors than only a big.

    Re: Storage capacitor

    Hi Esteban,
You diode is rather then nothing, but still poorly to prevent oscillations because of current consumption of loudspeaker.
Can you look Fisher 1266 schematic? You will see T14 MPSU 51 (you can use any PNP about 1A) which regulate voltage for loudspeaker on level +E. It is very good solution.
    Best regards,
    Jackdetect.

      correction

Jelko, one is not regulates, but BUFFERs the voltage.

      all the best

          Re: correction

you can also add a electrolytic capacitor from the base to a ground - it does the buffer more effective...

look in a schematic of Vladimir MINKOV - here beyond, he did use that.
