I like your choice of components for this basic design. I have been wanting to use the 4060 osc. divider in a circuit myself. You can use a 30 cent, 32khz crystal and its a real compact economical way to go. The 4046 is also a straight forward phase shift design. Good going!

Soon I'll post some instructions specialy for this circuit because head coils and wave forms have to be adjusted exactly on the right place.

In this case 32khz crystal is inapplicable because in 4060 outputs on divider for 2,4 and 8 missing.

Vladimir, i have the "old" schematic you post maybe more one year ago. Is this the same or you make some improvements?

Yes the idea is the same, only the parts are different. Generally idea is that X channel is switched off, R channel is ground balanced using phase shifting and indication and sound is possible when real metal is near to the search coil. Sound is too effective .Using silent tone as preferred. Nonferrous metals produced strong short sound. Ferrous metals don’t do any sound or is listened that the slight sound decayed.

I did not notice before that you could not get to the outputs of the first 3 flip flops, oh well there goes that idea.

Sxemata e kompilasiq : Trasmiter- Fisher, Predusilvatel-Fisher, demodulatorii avtonastroika -Magnum. Ne e li mnogo golqma vremekonstantata na filtrite- 100k i 1mkf? Izxoda struva mi se stava i s ediniq tranzistor vtoriq samo obra6ta polqriteta nali.Dobre e razdelena zvukovata 4ast s otdelen stabilizator.Pozdravi!

Nqma li da e po prosto ako ot 4060 kam edin kragov registar ot 2 d trigera /1br. 4013/ da se polu4at tezi ref. naprejenia. A GEB da se napravi s fazovartq6to stapalo sled vxodniq usilvatel. Rusnacitepravqt ne6to podobno imislq 4e e postabilno ot 4046.Vapros na izbor razbira se.
