Help me to find PCB (scematic diagram) and detailed informations about antenna (chamber) for mineoro pdc210. Thanks.

    Re: mineoro PDC 210

I have traced out the PDC-205 circuitry, but don't have it in a consumable form. Mineoro uses an Atmel microcontroller, so you would not be able to duplicate it. I also did not break open the antenna chamber, as it is epoxy-filled, and this unit was on loan.

My analysis of the PDC-205 is that (1) it cannot locate gold, and (2) it is probably a scam.

      Hacking Atmels.

Stuck for Atmel code? Want to know what they dont want U to see? Try this; http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~sps32/mcu_lock.html

Even PIC's aren't safe! Just ask Tesoro

Nice text. I remembered the maxim that everything is lock can unlock. For me the best way is the reverse engineering

          Reverse engineering from what?

I still can not find metal detector unit which is worth such efforts, especially not with microcontrollers.

Beside, what is purpose to copy cod? If you record with logic analyzer all working diagrams (in work conditions), you can easily make same program, or probably better.

You fellows must confront with truth, that those small manufacturers of metal detectors for treasure hunt, still not capable to make real new technology approach to metal detecting (they don’t want it, or don’t want to pay price for it).

Reverse engineering is a hobby as the metal detectors. O.k i agree it is very hard to learn about reverse engineering (if you dont know) only to unlock a microprossesor of a comersial metal detector

I agree Jackdetect! All moder commercial units are TOYS, nothing more.

Manufacturers hype them up and use stilly little acronyms like H.O.T (Tesoro High Output Transmitter) and ED (Extended Discriminate in order to confuse and abuse the poor dectorist. IMHO ANY manufacturer who uses this sort of bulls**t should have their product BOYCOTTED! The would certainly put one Australian manufacturer out of business for a start, closely followed by Teosoro and Fisher.

So far Whites seem to be the only company not to use hype and bull to sell their machines. Likewise, their machines seem to perform best out of all those mentioned. Funny that isn't it.

Anyway, I must say I get as much fun reverse engineering their toys, as I so using them.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS!

Who says that White's is not guilty of the above? All of the major metal detector manufacturers are "equally innocent!"
