Just bought wife new digital Bounty Hunter to use until we can get Carl's PI built. It has no ear phone plug- a)would there be any benefit to adding one? b)would it cause noise or have other negative effects? After looking at a few others I noticed alot of the digital ones DO NOT have ear phones. What's the deal with that? THANKS [email protected]

I didn't know that any detector lacked a headphone jack. I would recommend it strongly, as it dramatically improves "signal-to-noise ratio", mainly by cutting down on the surrounding noise.
