TESLA coil and gold

About 15 years ago in a kind of underground treasure newsletter there was mention of someone puting his gold ring in a chamber,turning on the coil,and he claimed the coil would point to gold.It was a short mention in a small paragragh in the newsletter.

I have always been fasinated with Tesla,but the article gave no information on how to go about doing this.I wanted to try it.

Any ideas or thoughts?

TESLA coil & gold

In USA there are a man who build artisanal long distance with tesla coil system (cilindric coil). In the origin this work at 400 V and have a little bronze antenna in the center. This work in this way: charge an high voltage capacitor wich "energize" the coil. This detector change automatically for silver and gold: a green led indicates the time for silver and a red led for gold. When the gold or silver (only buried for long time) is in coincidence for each classifier (green for silver, red for gold) sounds a bip. If the target is gold, during the green led aperture for silver (few seconds, of course), for example, you have not sound and viceversa. The engineer (i ear this version) had a legal problem because a man died (man with pacemarker). In the antenna is present the high voltage. I have'nt another info about it.
Of course, there are infinite perspectives. But you must discusse this kind of "gadget" in Remote Sensing section.

Tesla coil, EM field etc..

Hi all,

Tesla was Serbian, like me. The most of his work can be seen in museum of Tesla in Belgrade, unless couple of things, which was taken by FBI, after his death.

In past years, I was read lot of SF anecdotes about his work, and most of them was it flam.

BUT truth is, that Tesla indeed, was make lot of very strange experiments with very powerful electromagnetic fields. He also was spoken about intelligent electromagnetic fields, which can be compared (maybe) with human bio field (extra sensor perception, etc).

The most scientist, usually prefer escape from such thinking, but in this century, somebody must face with it, and make some progress.

I think lot of progress, already was made in some secret institutions, but unfortunately far from face of public.

LRL can be one of such things. (I want to believe!)

What was the newsletter? I vaguely recall something like that in THC. Unfortunately, THC was not exactly a reliable source of technology in the earlier years. A whole lot of Bull Snorting was published and, despite good intentions, Larry Williams just didn't have the scientific background to filter it.

THC was an interesting newsletter, but during the time Larry Williams ran it, I would not consider it a good source of information on locator technology. Larry's intentions were good, but he did not have the scientific expertise to properly evaluate technical claims, and quite a few times gave praise to completely bogus devices and outright scams. However, I'll keep an eye out for the issue.
