İ built the two box but have a problem about nulling, mostly its working very fine and finding very deep object like big pipes 3 meter down but sometimes there is false signal. do you help me.

A 2-box that is not nulled will give a constant signal, and have greatly reduced sensitivity. Sounds like the occasional false signal is not a nulling problem, but something else. Can you give a better description of what is going on?

i tell you whats happining, i built all circuit and turned on. i put them on the table 1m or 3 feet away each other and using the transmitter trimmer i tuned the maximum reading on the receiver meter. thats mean i think, same frequance tuning. after tuning. witcher transmitter fastened 90 degree aluminum conduit and receiver fastned other side of the conduit. there is enaugh play to allow balance adjustment. thats ok. turning on both units and receiver gain control R3 "pot" midposition. but i cant see zero meter on the receiver. i tryed all angle by using the balance adjuster. If i rotate the R3 pot left side now i can see the meter zero . but i think there is no enaugh gain during this position and not sensitive, some times giving weak signal or false signal. if i rotate right side R3 pot, its not impossible the see zero. sound like crazy.
i fix the transmitter and i go away with receiver. eproxcimatelly 5m away receiver getting signal from transmitter. Thats all right ? how can i tune the R3 gain pot ? do you explane me ?
