I have moved the question to its own thread so it isn't so confusing. I hope you don't mind.
Now, the LM 318 is an older version of a fairly fast IC. Depending upon just what you want to do, you can substitute other IC's such as NE 5534, OPA 602, LT 1028, and a few others that should work, such as the OP 37 or possibly the MAX 437.
I prefer the NE 5534A. It is quiet and works well for most applications. That is why you see it used frequently even today.
Now, if you use one of these substitutes, then you may have to change or eliminate any compensation that is used on the LM 318. What may have to be done will be determined by the application.
As for the ICL 7660, yes there are several subsititutes available. Some have higher output current capability. One I like is the LT1054. It has a 100ma output capability and will work up to 15V. It is a little more expensive, though.
Microchip's TC7662A has a 40 ma output and will work up to 18V, I believe.
