What's TRASHOLD

I see that in many metal locator schematics is show a potentiometer identifiqued with the label TRASHOLD, but I don't know what this means. ????

I suspect it's supposed to be THRESHOLD or background hum when there is no target present

I believe that understand, and then de 1 Hz sound in the TWIN LOOP when no object is near of your coil is T*HOLD.

This is the adjustment that is put in the integrator input, fix the level for the begining of the operation of detection.
