Pi and nuts

This is a real Pulsestar II
Price was 3000 usd some time ago.
Best PI detector in the middle range ever.
Someone mention MC68H...processor in it.
No it is not.There are two PIC's.
Aparatus is not hard to copy and make as
U see on picture, but where to find a HEX's
for those PIC's. Besides I own PSII for some
years and I am not thrill with it. In the air
it can detect a Volkswagen Golf II at 3.5m
range,but in the ground ...??? It is very
unstable on some fields which makes it
unusable.I am sorry to splash somebody's
imagination and dreams but this is naked
thruth.With its coil 45cm radius it is
suitable for occassional finds like any other
detector.When U test it in the air U be very
satisfied ...but in the ground...average.
I also tested Lorenz with the same coil and
results were even worse! Only one of PI's
which really stoned me was some Minelab with
DD coil !?But the price was 4300 e.
So at the end what are U expecting of home-made
XR71 or Delta Pulse? Ha,ha,ha!

put the things on the right place.
I made XR71 and Delta pulse 2-3 years ago.
It worked but very unstable.Maybe I am not
good constructor,but there are very critical
points in the project which U just can't
adjust without high tech equipment and
instruments as big companies have in their
labs.KT315 is very active on the forum and
as I noticed He is very conversant about the
stuff, I would like to hear his oppinion abut
this PI mania.
And for the end, if U want to make usefull PI
and not to waste Your time and money try to
make a PI which somebody claim it was Pulse Star I
(which is not).It is early German design(kit costed
120 DEM in 1990.)and there is schematic

Sorry but i think that you are not good constructor. Last week i finished XR71 and it is very stable. It is not so sensitive as Lorenz with coil 1m x 1m but it is very stable detector. All detectors must have good and clean pcb and good quality capacitors.
