Hi all, In xr71p R36 is 1k and R37 is 12k, But in XR-71 R39 is 1k and R40 is 12k. Which one is correct?
Hi .All are right.XR71 and XR71p is the same. R36 and R37 are for XR71p. R39 and R40 are for Delta Pulse.Q7 at xr71 (PNP) is Q8 at Delta Pulse (NPN). Xr71 has Auto and manual. Delta pulse has only Auto. XR71 runs at 400Hz and Delta Pulse at 100Hz. All the other are exactly the same. Very good and stable detector. Construct it.
Bye
XR71 and Delta Pulse are almost the same - true. Unfortunately both share same errors - 2 values in the circuit aren't correct (dumping resistor and one other in the ground ballance part). Only tracing the original XR board can show the exact values.

Hi GTK. Damping resistor is 2k2. Who other resistor would you like:confused: ? I have the original XR71. Eric Foster gave it to me. I checked with one who i made before 2..2.5 years and it is exactly the same.
What is the difference between the XR-71p and the Aban's schematic? Are they absolute the same?
Regards.
Hi,
I don't know aban's schematic...so can't say. But you can build XR-71 that is a very good PI.
It requires just some adj on timings and a good coil for you search plan...and works really good - very stable and very goo depth much like deltapulse.
Project are really similar and major difference is in auto feature only and lots of minor differences ( that anyway change nothing about performance ).
