I also am a keen and serious treasure hunter , and have several high tech electronic instruments including ground penetrating locator (G.P.L.) (will detect down to 150 ft.) I am returning to Mindanao in oct. 2006 to complete a treasure hunt. I am at present doing further study on japanese signs and symbols which were used in W.W.II I also have access to Jap. code used in philippines. Im happy to help you if you want . if interested get back to me. have a nice day and thanks for your time.

rare? US military maps of the Davao area. 1944

anyone interested in world war II maps of the phillippines? they were made by the US Military as they pushed the japanese north. they may shed light on land features that have changed over the last 60 years. they are in digital format. may help someone find the gold. these maps may be easily found or may be very rare, i do not know. i did the research for a exploration company working the area and didnt get payed. i want compensation.

              contact info.
