Igor MN, I am currently designing a 2 Box metal detector.
It seem to be coming along pretty good at the moment.
I have proto typed parts of it and now going to do up a complete circuit board for further testing and possible changes.

When complete, the schematic will be posted on my website along with a circuit board layout.
Or I can sell you the board at a fair price. (Possibly $5)

    Take care........Gary

Hi Gary! I think that is great idea, becouse i am a builder not a inventor can't wait for You to finish. The sooner the better
Kt 315,You are not making it easy to me sow same changes on schematics made from You ( U1D is missing) ,is that supouse to be bi like that?
      greetings from Igor

You MUST PUT "Electronic, Two Box" in the Subject line.

        Take care........Gary

Hi Igor. The using of U1d is to create the audio tone. The modification of KT is clever. He took audio from U5b who is freq divider. On U1a he writes NE5534 but the pins are not correct. I think that it is not usefull to use a NE5534(low noise) because the problem at Hight gain on two box detectors is not the noise but the isolation between the coils. Because the schematic is very simple you can build it on a general purpose board.

            HI people
Geo,after lots of hours on net,i found PCB LAYOUT OF T/R LOCATOR !!!!!
needed to download few programs for layouts, and experiment with them. Finally, succes! but, some tracs(shorttrucs)can't be displayed when pcb is changed into a BMP.not a big problem for those who know to read a schematics.
KT315,look forward for Your answer to Geo,i am interested to build better mashine
Gary, stay with us,can't wait to see your work

              I'm working on it.
Convert the BMP to a JPG.
There are numerous programs that will convert formats.

If you can't, email it to me and I'll convert it.
I can also edit the tracks if I know which ones.

Hi Igor. Please can you give me the URL to find the pcb layout of tr_locator?
                Thanks

Ofcourse Geo! The time has come that someone get something from me on this forum
http://sevzirfo.narod.ru/tr1.rar ,these are things finded with locator :http://sevzirfo.narod.ru/uzel.htm, and here some construction images :http://sevzirfo.narod.ru/nahodkideep.htm
                  u need Sprint-layout 3.0 to open it.
I finaly made it!!! here is lay out for T/R locator(IN BMP formate!).simple,no doubt!

Guys, need some competent opinion about this layout,to me seems ok.

KT315 ,can You please specified what is most common(europian) replacement for each part(in russian)
For those interested coils are each 38 cm,150 turns of 0.4mm elamed wire(looks fat ),dont understand if shilding is necessary( kt315 must help here)
                      enjoy

Hi Igor. When you will finish the T_R Locator please tell us about the sensitivity to compare it with my 2Box detector.

                        Thanks

                          Question

what is the adventage of using two loops in different axis.in two box designs one loop is horizantal and other is vertical .
                          thanks for answers

Hi Okantex. The coils are vertical between them in order that when does not exist returning signal "because existence of metal" the receiver does not receive the signal of transmitter

Hi Geo,i can't make this T/R becouse,i still dont know if shilding is neccessary, and wright european marks of parts in schematics.whitch TO-220 iz best for him (irf 740 ?)\
Did You build one?if U tell me more about all construction, and sensitivity
                              Thanks

                                Hi GEO
do u remember my previous mail with drawings .about what I said we found coin from 4 meters(coin was inside of a small closed mud cup that when we opened it my friends hand burned because of gas inside.so think coin at a size of cup because of oxidation effect)
that machine's antenna was in this manner.transmitter and reciever were in different axis.and in my opinion it's frequency was 50Mhz and it was spectral frequency analyzer.
