gary, say me please, my question is ? if is possible one detector can work very well, whit your signal, box to box (in air),whit mesure 10 metres distance , or can have noises to ground? or other problems? what is the limite or maxime distance for one detector two boxs in air?
is these distance extreme, only for radiocomunications?
    for your attention thanks

    There can be Many Problems.

I Have No Idea what the Maximum Distance will be and I will never find out because I only built a Proto-Type, Just to make sure it Worked.
It will Never get Completed as a Working unit for Outside Detecting.

One Problem I noticed is it Easly Picks up AC Signal from Power Lines.

    Hope This answers your question,
    Take care....Gary

    • thanks gary and kt315 thannnnnnnnnnnnnkssssssss

i read and learn your answers, i am refered to false signal on mineralizations, or alcaline soils, whit obtain these detector extreme power signal of most 10 mts radiations
      ok i study your aseverations

      best regards

            Possibly someone else can.

i ! encountred the solution whit one specific polarized filter, what i put in middle circuit , thanks very much, my circuit work very well! my objetive is in future on one two b. detector metal discrimination

              • hi all. I would like yet add that TX coil must be have slightly low Q. not sharp Q. at first step you must tune the coil on sharp resonance, then you must include some R=51-100 Ohm in coil.
                regards

                  • Hi Detectoman,

What kind of specific polarized filter have you put in the circuit? And where?
Can you give us more details?

                    Chris

                      Hi detectoman.
What detector are you making? The TR locator or another?
Personally i didn´t have to much time today to work on TR locator, so may be tomorrow i´ll do some job to it.
Let me know from your expirencies.
                      Regards
                      Nelson

                      Hola detectoman.
Cual detector estas armando? Es el TR locator u otro?
Peronalmente no tuve mucho tiempo hoy para trabajar en el TR locator, por lo que espero mañana pueda trabajar en el.
                      Avisame de tus experiencias.
                      Un abrazo

                      • hello chris, tomorrow i see especifications of these capacitor, i remember only the name gold", is japanese, i am writing in middle night, in home, my detector is in my office, my apologies, i see tomorrow
nelson, my detector tw.b is my own project, is one modified, whit very much own inovations, is build the reciver on ic 741 and transistors 2 2n2222 mps 12 ic 555 optoacoplador tr 2 547 and 558 is very complex most what tr sevzirfo, in days i post pictures on he, i can,t dowload to pc pictures from my camera, ocurr one error in hard disk, my apologies i nedd help of other pc of my friends for dowload in compac disk the photos, in days i go to farm i return and i post these
                        best regards

                        • Hi All. I read the Sevzirfo page and he says that both coils needing foil for shielhing. I am not agree with it. I made a lot of 2Box detectors and i have try the coil shielding but no results. I had bad sensitivity. But why to shield the coils??? Tx transmit a signal and the Rx receive it. Ground signals do not appearing on the Rx coil. You can tell me that Sevzirfo designed this detector, constructed it and he has the kindness to give the schematic and how it work at this forum, to us. Yes , i just say about my experiments on 2box detectors .

I Also Extremely Doubt there is any reason to Shield these coils, or that it would make any Improvement at all.

Unlike most other types of detectors, Typically this detector is Not placed Close to the ground. More likely a foot or two above the ground.

Geo, possibly you did ordinary mistake what beginners frecuently have off. if you use FOIL for the shielding you must do AIR GAP in the shield by 1-2 sm (1 inch) of width contrary, with CLOSED shield you will get like to a transformer with CLOSED ONE LOOP. so ALL E-M ENERGY will be transfer in a HEAT
                              regards

I think that everyone knows that we must make a air gap at the shield. Maybe we made these mistakes a lot of years ago, not now
