in your site there was a lnk for ferrite calculations but I can not find it today.
there ,there was a formula and according to it ,I tried to calculate it and I found really big number. like1000
as you mentioned in your mail.my u-core is consist of two cores to give rectangular shape.
your u-core looks like it has 60 turns and say al value 1625 and result 320 uH
when contrassst my u-core that you see

it has al value of 2400 nH( ?????) it must have similar results but how?
I can calculate it
could you please try calculation for this core
