Okantex 3 box system
WM6, The radio receiver is only a box of Okantex System. This 3 box system. To radio is connected a box with electronics processing demodulated signal and buzzer. The main part is transmitter with very odd antenna design. It is powered with 9V battery and 4 cells x1,5V. It seems like metal detector. See postings #12 and #39.

you see the 006 , under it there are three lines controled by tuning pots. the owner told me that He was getting dept from that part.
can you give original user informations of this radio , I mean funtions of buttons above the box and funtion of parts ,does it for LW , AM ,FM etc?

This receiver is designed to work in all radio bands (mean: LW, SW, MW and UKW). You can replace it with any other all band receiver, no need to weight 9 kg as Leningrad.

Where the buzzer is connected?
The buzzer can be connected to meter P1.Attached Files

yes thanks friends ,
btw happy new year to all .
as told to me frequency selection buttons 8-13 were used to select metal type after stopping buzzer box beepss.when pioner ( detector ) find metal , it also starts beeping together with buzzer .
than user stops buzzer and push frequency selection buttons to f,ind metal type ,
but if you ask me it must be like that ,
detector part must be a passive receiver ,having highly directional receiver and must be wideband receiver.just enough to get phase shift ,
and after finding target it must emit the frequency to radio ,
buzzer box must receive this signal ,
signal received by detector is 90 degre shift of any LW or AM signal propageted by stations.
this received frequency must be shifted 90 and checked by shifting ratio of different metal which must be adjusted manual by scope on the bench.
so that , frequency button will be metal selection buttons after calibrating them by scope.
I think you could analyse it better than me,
we need to hav brain storming , what about your ideas
kind regards
Okantex

"Okantex System" Project
REMI groupA group of amateur radio designers, having as hobby to redesign, revise, reinvent and rediscover the electromagnetic induction :-)Our slogan is: come up with something more perfect!Okantex SystemVirtual Project
OBJECTIVE:
The project aims to reinvent a metal detecting system, which detected a coin at depth 4m (400cm).
NAME:
The name of the project comes from Okan Aydin (okantex) - the man who has described such system. (Americo Vespucci has described a continent, so it is named after him :-)

START DATE: The project started on 081109 with collection of information. The collection will continue with discussion in Geotech Forums.
DESCRIPTION(see sketch below):
1. The OkantexSystem consists of three unitsas shown in the sketch
U1 looks like hand held metal detector,
U2 looks as portable heavy stereo radio receiver,
U3 is a box connected to U2. It contains pcb and a Buzzer.
First operator moves U1.
Second operator at U2 and U3 remain immovable.
It plays with buttons to see dept and discrimination of metal.
Is this correct?Attached Files
