you seem to be forgot the 1uf capacitor which connected to headphones and the earth

I tried to connect them in the circuit you made as shown in the attachment:

    please check it

And can I really use it with the transmitter circuit made by Charles D. Rakes:

And I can not see this project on your website, please give me it's name
No I Never added that Cap on the Schematic or PCB I Designed.
    I put it on seperate.

My Circuit Works very good as a Replacement, So make it and try it.

I DID NOT Like the Final Results of that Detector, So I Removed it from my website.

can you post some test result here? i was built it it some month ago and it work, but i leave it because i went to make some LRL, so if you can post some test and say to us what is detection depth for a car , it will be useful for me!.
      thanks in advance

      • Sorry, I built that 2 box detector, quite a few YEARS Ago. Can't remember the Results now.
But I Was Not impessed with it, And Threw it out.

However, My Transistor Version of the CA3035 does work good.

But the hight of the box is 2-5/16" , I know it's in inches, but really I don't understand it.

Please Gary can you explain it.

Yes, but you should use point instead comma. The comma in English means 23125 inches
