Hi. If you will use large coil (1m x 1m) then The Delta Pulse or XR71 are very good detectors.

You have right. (But if i remember right the Bulgarian PD3200 who is digital has the ability of some discrimination at small objects).

what about DEEPERS 8AT ?is not it a PI .Seller insists that it has discrimination and rejection of irons.http://www.metaldetection.net/english/

why discrimination levels are written on screen like in attecment

I check the pulse star II , there was not any thing written on front pannel as
gold or iron orpeny etc.u better check it too.

Hi. I have worked with Lorenz two times. There is not Discrimination, only a rejection to small iron objects. The Pullse Star II manual writes that if you use the large coil 2x2 m then you reduce the ability for Discrimination. Why? What changes at electronics systems for discrimination. Very simple they can not discriminate. They play with Sample Delay. I believe that Eric Foster is the only man who can answer to us exactly. Nobody else.
