Need help on A&H Super Pro

Hi,
I have a A&H Super Pro that works great but When I have it in the lowest Discrimate setting of foil it wont detect nickels or gold rings....
Even when I adjust the discrimate control (10 turn)below the pre-set all the way CCW it dont detect nickels...But I know the control works because I can adjust out screw caps at the higher setting then turning the 10 turn discrimate control.
It will pick up nickels and rings in all metal.
But just wont go down low enough in foil setting?
Has anyone had this problem?

A.H. SUPERPRO-- WON'T DETECT NICKELS

You probably got this fixed by now but you definitely have a problem. I have 2 A.H.SUPERPRO's and both will detect nickels. They are not very sensitive to nickels and are more sensitive to higher conductive metal such as silver, brass, copper, and pure gold. I was told that the Pro was more sensitive to nickels and the Superpro was more sensitive to Silver! Good Luck
