I have a Minelab Explorer, the older version. My earphone socket stoppecd working and while I was replacing it with a new socket I shorted out the Q504 transistor and now the detector works, but no sound. I found a fabulous spot to detect and now my detector is broken. I was wonderingt if anyone knew the number for Q504 so that I may find and order one so that I can get my detector working as soon as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I checked the forum for schematics for the Minelab Explorer but did not see any listed. Thanks
