who can build me a PI

Can anyone build me a PI detector for Relic Hunting, I am hopeing to go to a C.W. Hunt this fall and they tell me I need a PI Detector, does not need to be water proof, but I would like it hip mount because of my bad back, I am not looking for a freebie, I just don't have the smarts to build one.
