Hi I never have experienced by my own, but have heard from some users it's
a junk and detects nothing or can't detect deeper than 3-4 feet. as a matter of fact there is no significant difference between primary models (like as rover c) and the latest versions except to only higher resolution. Don’t waste you money for it. A powerful metal detector is much better and useful than those junks.

I looked at an ad for this machine that claims results to 80 feet, but it doesn't tell you the size of the object. It could be a truck for all we know. This is far field stuff so they can scan a lot farther because they're using 100+MHz frequencies, but have the severe problems with dielectric materials and in some conditions magnetic materials. So the object could easily be a bunch of water or some other dielectric material.
Looking at the antenna I think it's safe to say this is not pico wavelength technology. So I don't think they can accurately tell the difference between magnetic, dielectric, and conductive objects.
PI metal detectors can accurately discriminate against magnetic and dielectric materials, but they are near field technology because of the lower frequencies. So they are limited to depth. The future will be interesting to see how new technologies can overcome these present issues. Personally I think it will be pico wavelength technology, but you never know.Where there's a will there's a way. All I know is that if I made such a device then the ad would contain a lot of details.

exp 4000
I am using the exp 4000 since 2 years, made hundreds of scans and I can tell you that this machine works. You just have to find the right adress to buy it since not everyone knows how it works. The deepest object that I located was at 8,4 meters in a grave.
However, many times you dig deep to find trash. When the objects are smaller it is impossible to see what is is or could be with the 3D-program.
