  • 0.1 g of 18k o 22k gold

Some body knows how i can make a detector to locate 0.1 g of gold. Is a litle piece but is in the air and i can pass the piece for the coil.

The goal is detect smalls pieces of gold in the sand but passing the sand for inside the coil.

I probed BFO detector with good results, but the coil have a very small diameter, about 1.5 inchs, i want to obtein a greater coil.

A PI detector can detect small pieces about 0.1g of gold ??? consider that the piece is moving at gravitation aceleration.

Thank, and sorry for my bad english

The only detector which comes to mind which apparently can detect microgold is the rangertells goldscrew and examiner. In fact I've heard microgold detection is the complain many of their users make. You can try to contact them tough.

Hi diminute, the reason for lack of answers is because this is well known and debated theme on this forum. For start check member bbsailor posts .. you can find some fairly deep insights there about gold detecting with PI detectors.

Hey hung that LR detector from rangertell is really something. Detecting gold with calculator?
Personaly would rather have J_Player's model...

At least this one looks cute.
I don't like the pressure gauges on JPlayer's model.

            0.1g gold

Are talking about grams or grains? If it's grams the Tesoro Lobo ST with an 8" Concentric Coil can do it and so can a Troy Shadow X-5 both of those machines are capable of detecting gold down to 0.7grains. Also a Fisher GoldBug maybe able to detect down to 0.1grains as I have heard of people finding flake gold with it. Hope this helps.

              Through

Is a sandy material, I want to tranfer sand through the coil... in order to find small pieces of gold (0.1-0.3 grams) in the sand.

Like sand clock or hourglass... but the sand pass inside the coil... i experiment that with a simple BFO can detect smalls pieces, but is a little unstable. Is probably that with a PI the situation can be best. Using smalls coils with diameters betwen 2 to 5 inchs more/less.

Thank, and sorry for my bad English.
