1. paper must have smooth surface.you can not use normal photocopy paper.
you must use oilly paper or nylon transparent sheet which is used for photocopy machines.if you use thin nylon it will break up your printer.if you want to use this nylon ,I offer you to go to photocopy machine.
in printer you can use fax machine paper.but its shinny side.it will turn black while printing pcb but do not worry,it will work fine

2. no for ink-jet.because ink jet uses ink and ink makes reactive bonding with cellulose ,so it wont work .
you have to use (fine toner) lazerjet printer or photocopy machine (they use toner)

Hi. To Okantex. My results was 50% good. I used nylon transparent sheet from a photocopy machine. I press it with the iron for 2 min about (the pcb comes very hot) and when i take out the paper then the lines was not good, there was discontinuity. After it i clean the pcb and i put a common photocopy paper and press it with the iron. Same results. The lines had discontinuity. Who is the problem. How many time i must press the iron on pcb? I wait your answer to make some tests yet. I like it so i will make it perfect.
Now for Ivconic. 1. What paper are you using?
2. The pcb who sent me is not exactly the same with Jackdetect's.Can you send me the modifications because i will make your pcb who has thicker lines.

I made an hour ago .and almost perfect.I used asetat(nylon).there are some parts needs correction.

Thanks Okantex. I made the pcb and now i begin to solder the components. The pcb is about 95% ok (it has a little breaks but no problem). I made a lot of tries and the problem was at 2 points. !. Time at least 5 min as you said.
2.The photocopy is not so good as Laser printer. When i photocopy with full color ( to put more ink on pcb) then lines with little distance between them are jumpered. With less color the paper don't stick so good on pcb. I made one good pcb with photocopy but i am afraid that is time to buy a laser printer for the pcb (who hears my wife again ha ha ....)

can you post the the changes or the correct schematic into the forum? I think many of us want to see it and you don't need to
reply to so many schematic requests.

I never build the detector yet, but here is a list of errors for the DBP2010 I found in the Internet. Have you found other errors?

The error list:

Main PCB
T4 & T5 (Collector & Emitter twisted by 180 degree)
R38 = 1 Ohm
R34 need to be optimized

Modul PCB
T3 (Collector & Emitter twisted by 180 degree)

i build it, respect all values, read some modif ; no good sound, sensibility and depth. XR1 or deltapulse better, good sound and sensibility and more easy to made... dbp2010 french forum is dead because some deception about performance...
