    What is this?

What is this? Why not posting whole schematic? If you have it (it is obvious) than why not posting it? Want some money for it?

The part of the schema X-5 is published at the clear request of KT315. The schematic isn't my property. I don't have authorization to the publication of the whole schema.
Robert - please not to write rubbish.

        ?

        Rubbish..!!??
I only asked you if you can post whole schematic here?
Am i that bad? Did i earned such bad "image" here? Whenever i post something serious....people just take "defending" attitude against?
Sorry if i hurted your feelings, only tought,it will be fair enough to post whole schematic, not only a part of it.
Besides, so many schematics are posted here already. No damage at all!
As i know, ivconic desparately need schematic of X3/X5 to fix his device.
It is not possible , he to send it on service abroad.....That was only reason to ask you to post it here...
        Anyway, regards!
        I hope, no hard feelings!

          Unuseable ....

I just returned from field.Short break.Tomorrow continue. Anything new here?
It seems everybody on holliday? July is perfect month for that.
Al right, i do not want to repeat myself, either to ask many times, so this
          is my last appeal;
Anybody know which ic's are those on photo?
"Scratched" while manufacturing? In Minelab they aslo do that!
I think it is not fair! What kind of copyright "protection" is that?
I do not have possibilities to send it to service abroad, so must try
to manage on my own....Few chances to do that.
Guys form TS and ML....not fair! It deserves to be published here...
Nobody intends to make copy of this, only to "save" it and put back in "life".
Much greater companies like White's,Garrett and Fisher didnt "scratch" component
          values at their devices...MAYBE COSE THEY ARE G R E A T FOR REAL!
Anyway, for the last time, if you can help, please HELP! If not....thanks again!

I will not come here again....
          Best regards!

            Hi,
sorry I don't know... I think that they could be quad op amps ultra low noise... but the 8 pin one just don't know even what to guess! Maybe with the schema some more seriuos guesses could be made. But what's real value?
Most important are supply pins and (if there) compensating pins... also current drawn is a good param.
But if they are burned ...well, could be impossible to guess what they are.

I think that these companies that scratch devices have their own (brutal)policy to avoid cloning of detectors, that are farther than just having some patent.
I guess that all their advantages over others are just some better balanced circuits and coils. So they scratch stuff cause haven't any revolutionary thing but just a good design and components good for them!
I'm quite sure that if you use another ic type on these designs you lose 20% or more performance due to noise...

Of course e.g. minelab are very good things... but no miracles.

            Best regards,
            Max

BTW I think that only manifacturers know what they are... cause maybe also service personell just know about designation of ICx and ICy and test points but not real what are devices employed. Maybe they just change the board if something reading is wrong...

thanks lots, Mrand. it is clear for me that TX part is not similar to Minelab Elite/GT' TX.

And are they still in business , and was the X-5 their best Detector and finally are these rumors True. I do not know much about Troy , just that they are related to Tesoro. Yes it is true.

The Troy detectors have been discontinued now for a couple of years. Yes their X-5 was their best detector. There is a brief inquiry on Carl's main detector forum below about Troy's detectors. But no one knows when his next model will be introducaed. No, Fisher built the X-5 not Tesoro but discontinued making them for Troy. I believe Troy wanted to produce his own plant.

the schematic is art-in-all-state design IMHO... I delight of this switty...
