Carl you outbid me on this several weeks ago. I had an emergency and had to pickup my son at Fort Polk in Louisiana. This is roughly a 400 mile round trip so I couldn't monitor the auction on that day. This was a detector that had previously sold on ebay for about $175.00 but was dropped and damaged while it was being packaged. So it was relisted and sold to you. I'M CURIOUS WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT, AS IT WAS ONLY DROPPED? As I have one of these I need to know if it has 2 threshold levels. One is like a constant noise or level and the true constant must be dialed in on top of it. Doing this the sensitivity increases considerably. Just curious if this is normal with the Pro-2 or is this just my problem? Thanks Joe

Joe, I'm not sure if I've even unpacked it. This was a fluke bid... I had just traded for one of your Pro 2's, and saw this one on eBay... I decided to throw in a silly bid of $35 max, knowing that I would be outbid, but wasn't. I'll pull it out this weekend and see what it does.

OK, I checked it out... in AM mode it just blares, can't stop it. In disc mode no audio at all. So it really doesn't work.
Just realized I traded you for a Super Pro, I already had a Pro, and this is a Pro 2. Were ther any more Pro models? Also have a Backpacker & a Nugget. Looking for a Quintron.

ive to Silver and other high conductive metals in the pulltab discrimination setting! The Pro and Pro-2 is more sensitive to nickels and rings. The Quintron was one of the 1st units to discriminate and ground compenasate at the same time! While the Pioneer series was their starter units for newbies,etc. When you get your Pro-2 repaired..... test it. Mine has 2 audio tones. One is a constant always in the background. The 2nd one is the threshold. Once the threshold is brought up on top of the ist audio, then the sensitivity increases like double!!! Just want to know if this is normal or is it just a fluke that is happening with my unit!! Thanks Joe

Just thought you may like to know there is an AH PRO on EBAY UK at the moment 21-09-06. As some people on here seem to like them. I always thought they were rubbish my self. I have nothing to do with the seller.
