IN HIS MEMORY. All this info was provided for Jackdetect to me. Some documentation is in word, extracted from emails. Here the firsts. The upload support max. 256 kb, some files I'll upload in free share sites, sorry, limitations... He qualify this project as EXCELLENT. He don't know the model (also I). Zeljko Milovanovic (Jackdetect) titled as type "12 XX".

Please, somebody convert the PCB in jpg and post.

"Fisher unknown...." is actually White's Classic III.....homemade .pcb made by some Max (serbian) from Pozarevac city....
At the time , poor Jackdetect didnt knew that it was White's....He got ready made device and tried reversed en. on it....
Ivconic also done that with a lot of success.....later he made dozen of those using this .pcb.....
As i heard it is working just fine....
Also that coil - spider....i think Jackdetetct misscounted turns in RX part...but i am not sure....
Maybe ivconic has something to say?

Thanks, Esteban, for posting this. The files from "mytempdir" are posted below, so that all of them will be available here in one place, and won't get purged. I did clean "Fisher12xxPRN.gif" a bit, and shrunk it from 793k to 176k.

I didn't re-upload the first 3 files, since you had done that. I think this will be OK, as long as they are all here on the forum. I was concerned that the "mytempdir" files would get purged after a while, and become unavailable.

O.K. i can translate anything you want Esteban,but nothing much to translate here. Good Jackdetect already gave explanations on both languages there....
Sony is right. "Fisher unknown..." is White's Classic III.....PCB is made by Max.. Nice,small pcb...i used several times.Works very fine...Although some element values are not right noted on posted file...
Later i added better audio by omitting MPSA13 and its driver BC550 and connecting that point to audio posted on Zahori thread...And you know what? Much,much better audio. Ithas even a slice delay, so it is much better when item is very small so you wont miss it if swing fast arround...
Also pinpoint switch is omitted in the pcb, but later Jackdetect added externally....
Certain Max man, so as i heard from Pozarevac city, made sveral of those with various setups...and reports from those are good on the field..

About Spider coil....well i am not sure...Last year,me and Jackdetect opened one Spider coil with sander!!! And tried to count those wires and windings...to many of them!
I lost my nervs than and left it.Later Jackdetect continued to examine it...
But at the time i counted much more than 153 windings in RX...Maybe i was wrong,i am not sure...
TX part is right as i remember...
So, that was all as i remember.....If any question more i would be happy to answer if i can...

I made this and find it very good.
with 26 cm DD coil - 35 cm 1 euro
i change power supply with dc-dc converter MC34063 , and generator with quartz and MOS driver

Hi Rumensat. Please can you tell me the characteristics from 26 cm DD coil? Which is the inductance and dc resistance and if you have build it what about turns and wire diameter

Tx - 90 turns 0,4 Cu - serial rezonance
Rx - 110 turns 0.2 Cu -paralell rezonance
capacitors adjust to rezonance with generator allready made on pcb 6995 hz (quarz 3.579 Mhz devided by 512 with CD4040 and attack with MOS couple)
i am working with this freqency as standart to make universal heads for all my metaldetectors
ballance about 3-8 mv , active head with amplifier OP07 k=2, +5,-5v ext.
after make all this inside head then make ballance.
shield with graphite spray all side
main body from isolation material for outside house 20 mm tick
cover with epoksy resin and glass wires
very good and stable head
something like that one
