how to use electroscope model 301

i have an electroscope model 301 but i don't know how to use it..can u explain it?

Electroscopes only work one time... and that was when Afilani sold it. Beyond the money he made at the sale, it won't do much else. See the LRL Reports page.

Instructions for use:
Hold instrument between forefinger and thumb. It doesn't matter which hand you use. Position over trash can ..... and let go.
Alternative solution to problem. Sell it on eBay to someone else.
